about

Culture Dub is proud to present "Destino", the result of the meeting between Latin American producers Caracas Dub and Mexican Stepper. Four tracks navigating between Electro Dub and Steppa with captivating melodies, on which Pijule and Guru Pope are breathing out ... This is the 22nd release of the netlabel Culture Dub Records for Free Download, colored by Pablo Macias, to discover now!

For this 22nd release, Culture Dub invites you to discover two producers of the new generation but who already have great experience behind the console. On the one hand, Caracas Dub originally from Caracas in Venezuela, and on the other hand, Mexican Stepper, major actor of the Mexican Dub scene and well known on this side of the Atlantic since his first European tour in 2014!

It is with the desire to strengthen their natural bonds due to this Latin American blood flowing in their veins, and following the positive feeling shared during the edition of the Festival Roots'N'Culture in 2019 in Grenoble, that Caracas Dub and Mexican Stepper decide to start this relation ship with "Destino"!

Caracas Dub is an independent dubmaker, who grew up in Venezuela, before flying to France, and settling in Lyon in 2009. He then joined the IZR Krew in 2011 and took his first steps as a bass player and a producer by broadcasting a melodic Dub Stepper, tinged with Hip Hop, Bass Music and Cumbia, of course! He finally created his solo project Caracas Dub, produced several Dub releases for different labels and regularly defended his Electro Dub Steppa on stage….

Yasser Serrano aka Mexican Stepper has been an active producer on the Mexican Dub scene since 2009. He quickly recorded several Dub Steppa releases tinged with Aztec tones for many specialized labels before signing his first vinyl at Culture Dub Records with Sista Bethsabée in 2015, which made his international renown! In recent years, Mexican Stepper has traveled the world to share his productions live, including Reggae Sun Ska, No Logo and the International Dub Gathering, while recording many Dubplates for recognized Sound Systems ...

Pijule, member of the pirate band of the IZR Krew, shares his melodica's melodies on "Destino", while Guru Pope, internationally renowned musician, brings his magic breath of saxophonist inna Dub Style! To complete this dream team, Pablo Macias has put his drawing talents at the service of this 22nd release of the Culture Dub Records, which will delight Dub fans with a catchy rhythm and a swaying melody, to discover freely !!…
