Culture Dub is Outernational ! For its 17th free download release, Culture Dub offers a 4 tracks EP, which results of the collaboration between the Japanese dubmaker Riddim Conference and the Spanish singer AntZoni Rubio! Ska, Digital & Dubwize... Listen It!

After exploring the actual Dub music in every nook and cranny, Culture Dub Records is proud of presenting a new  net release, authentic and original, where Ska from the 60's and Digital from the 80's are brought up to date, and mixed in a Dub version! An appetizing concept which has been thoroughly concocted not by a Jamaican productor but a Japanese one... 

Riddim Conference aka Shanty Nob is a staple of the Japanese Reggae scene. As a multi-intrument musician - he has been playing bass for more than 20 years, as well as melodica, trumpet, piano, guitar and drums - Shanty Nob is also a member of Tribe Works Sound System based in Tokyo, one of the oldest Japan Sound Systems. As a valuable sign, his tunes are played by Jah Shaka himself, espacially his collaborations with Johnny Clarke or Rod Taylor, released in 2018 on his first LP. 

As an expert in Roots & Culture, Riddim Conference has composed 2 riddims inspired of Jamaican music history, which he suggested to the singer AntZoni Rubio and then, as a tradition, which he mixed to deliver 2 explosive Dub versions! 

What is the link between a Japanese riddim maker and a Spanish MC? Besides the fact that AntZoni Rubio lived for 3 years in Japan (where he recorded the album « Sound Na Kanji » with Pablo Raster fully in Japanese language!), those two guys virtually collaborated few time, since Riddim Conference remixed a PlusStepper title called ‘Souljah' with Antzoni Rubio at the microphone! This remixes album is still available for free download on Culture Dub Records… The circle is complete!
